How to Play

Just made your character? This page walks you through what to do next - from your first minutes in the world to the basics you’ll use every day.

If you still need to install or log in, go back to Get Started first.

Before you wander off, craft a NosMate and a Partner of your choice. You’ll want both with you from the start.

Pick one of the starter mates:

  • Indian Bushi Indian Bushi
  • Fortune Bushtail Fortune Bushtail
  • Leo the Coward Leo the Coward

More mates (and where to get them) are listed on the NosMates page.

Available starter options are Graham, Ragnar, and Jennifer:

  • Ragnar's Key Ragnar's Key
  • Graham's Holy Stone Graham's Holy Stone
  • Jennifer's Key Jennifer's Key

Before you leave the starting map, change to the class you want to play.

Press P to open your character panel, then click one of the class icons at the bottom. You can switch classes whenever you like - nothing is locked in.

Take a moment to look around. Walk the starting area, talk to NPCs, and poke at shops and crafts - or skim the wiki if you’d rather plan ahead.

The NPCs page is a good place to start: every NPC, their shops, and crafts in one spot. From there you can also browse raids, daily quests, NosMates, and more under In game content.

When you’re ready to grind, head through the EXP MAPS portal:

Go in, pick a map that matches your level, and keep leveling. As you go, you’ll get rewards for hitting new levels - full list on Level Up Rewards.

Daily quests are a big part of progressing on ClashTale. Keep them up and you’ll have a steady flow of rewards that help develop your character over time.

Open the Quest tab in Character Info to see what’s on for the day:

See what’s available, how they work, and what you can earn on the Daily Quests page.

Realms are custom maps where you farm valuable drops - perfection stones, materials to craft SP cards, and more. Each elemental realm has its own portal from the hub:

Raids are a big part of developing your character. Clear them for materials to craft high-level equipment, upgrade tattoos, and more.

You’ll find the raid portals (and traders) in the raid area:

Requirements, rewards, and box contents for each raid are on the Raids page.
