Game shift
Game shift reshapes character progression and adds new ways to play through ClashTale content. This update slows down the path to end game, reduces some of the repetitive work created by the multi-class system, and introduces more options for players who cannot always find a full raid team.
Changes and new features
Section titled “Changes and new features”- Many new items are available. New items have been added to monster drops and crafting recipes. Their known sources can be checked in the item database and on the NPC map.
- Character progression has been reworked. Experience gain is now much slower, and several new EXP maps have been added to the leveling route.
- Guaranteed Specialist upgrades have been added.
SP Upgrade Gem and
Super SP Upgrade Gem allow
Specialists to be upgraded from +1 to +15 with a 100% success rate while
costing only gold. On a normal server, an end-game player may prepare around
10 Specialist Cards. Because ClashTale is a multi-class server, a fully
developed character can require more than 40. This system is intended to
make that workload reasonable without removing the gold cost. - Raids now have solo Time-Space versions. These copies provide the same rewards as their matching raids, except for raid tokens. They are intended for players who cannot find a team. Balance adjustments will continue over the next two days: the goal is to make the Time-Spaces comfortable for solo players while keeping organized raid teams more profitable.
- Fast upgrade windows are now available for tattoos and carved runes. Multiple upgrade attempts can be handled without repeatedly navigating the original upgrade flow.
- Level-up rewards have been adjusted. Specialist and equipment upgrade levels and rarities were reduced to make progression slightly more demanding. The updated milestones are listed on the Level Up Rewards page.
- REALMS drops have been rebalanced. Rewards should now be distributed more evenly across all four REALMS. Further tuning will continue over the next two days.
- Item information now links directly to the wiki. A new button in the item information window opens that item’s wiki detail page. Some items may still be missing from the item database; the list will continue to be expanded as skipped entries are found.
Act 4 kill streaks
Section titled “Act 4 kill streaks”Every player kill in Act 4 now awards Glacernon Coins. Longer uninterrupted streaks increase the number of coins earned per kill:
| Current streak | Coins per kill |
|---|---|
| 1–4 kills | 1 |
| 5–9 kills | 2 |
| 10–24 kills | 3 |
| 25–49 kills | 4 |
| 50+ kills | 5 |
The streak resets when you leave Act 4 and is not saved between visits.
Bug fixes
Section titled “Bug fixes”- Fixed an issue where every Warp button teleported players to the same location.
- Corrected the textures used by the Warp widget. The Settings, Up, and Down buttons now use their intended visuals.
- Fixed Caligor boxes.
- Fixed Fernon gloves.
- Corrected the stone required to craft Waterfall Berserker.
- Corrected the respawn point used after dying on an Act 7 map.
- Replaced outdated messages below the chat that were still promoting NosWings.
- Several additional smaller issues were fixed but were not captured in the original update notes.
Wiki changes
Section titled “Wiki changes”- Added the searchable In game items database.
- Added the Partner Specialists page.
- Made several smaller content and presentation improvements.
The wiki will keep improving over the next two days. Documentation is not my favorite job, but I will keep working through it until the important player information is properly covered.
